3D character model of Hank Venture from the Adult Swim animated series The Venture Bros.
The Venture Bros., apart from being one of my favorite television series, is a massive source of inspiration for me as an artist and storyteller. The writing, humor, aesthetic and storytelling of the series are extremely well actualized and coherent, and is something I strive to achieve with my art.
I made this character not just as an homage but also as a challenge to create a 3D model of a 2D character. Additionally I challenged myself to learn Blender 3D using this project and so, I made the entire project using Blender, from Sculpting, Retopologizing, Posing, and Rendering in Blender. Textured in Substance Painter.
